Description
The story takes place during the Hundred Years' War in France, when the English begin to gradually take control of the country. In this game, you play Joan of Arc and your mission is to kill them all ! Your sword and your bow help you to success ! Moreover, you can use two types of attacks : you can be thin and delicate or on the contrary show your power.
There is a strategy element in Joan of Arc, since you can toggle between the third-person action and a traditional top-down real-time strategy view. Come and discover this whole period of the history of France through eight missions combining strategy and action. Lead your armies to victory and fight in full 3D to finally get the English out of France !

The description for this game is funny coming from a French company. "Kill all the English!", "Get the English out of France!". Haha.
I like this game, I had it when I was little. It was suppose to be part of a series, but only this one ever came out due to the company not making enough money. It's a good combination of an action role playing game mixed with real-time strategy of controlling many units at the same time, much like games like Age of Empires or Empire Earth. You can fight with Joan and her firends in 3rd person like a console fighting game with special attack moves, then you can lay siege to a castle controling many units in an overhead view like a computer real-time strategy game. It's a try at a unique blend and it is fun, even though it has it's bugs(but what game doesn't have bugs). I like the graphics and art direction of the game, some great music too. It's not just a straight combat game, as you can find new armour and weapons, and it even has an inventory system. And let me say, as a woman, it's nice to play a strong girl character that isn't some half naked bimbo!
A really great underrated game, and one I'm happy to buy and play through again today!
