After the success of Descent and Descent 2, this is the third episode of the series, entitled Descent 3. It constituted a major technical upgrade over its two predecessors and the story begins immediately at the end of Descent 2. After destroying the warp core, you are rescued by a small group of rebels who want to eradicate the virus and the PTMC. They explain you that the PTMC is responsible for the virus and that its inventor Dr. Swietzer disappeared. So, your first mission is to find him.

Nothing is impossible with Descent 3, you can go left, right, up, down, change your angle etc. Unlike the classic shooter, there is no level with 1 or 2 floors but it is completely in 3D and in weightlessness. Moreover, they aren't just tunnels and rooms they are also outdoor scenes and new effects are included such as fire, wind or rain to increase the realism. Let the steam out with Descent 3 !
