Description
The Guild 2 - Gold Edition is a pack including The Guild 2 and its addon The Guild 2: Pirates of the European Seas. This game is a simulation of medieval life mixing role playing, strategy and economic management. The story takes place in the Middle Ages and you play as an inhabitant of a city and you have to manage his daily life : work, love and more.
In The Guild 2, you can choose from four character classes (each with its own characteristics), learn one of the ten professions available, build your business, gain experience and upgrade your dynasty. The add-on Pirates of the European Seas expands the original game by adding the huge area of the Hanseatic cities at the Baltic and parts of the North Sea. Show your skill and manage your life as you want !

Dotemu needs "The Guild 2: Renaissance", not this Gold version! There were four Guild 2 games that came out. The 1st was the original game "The Guild 2". The 2nd was the stand alone expansion "The Guild 2: Pirates of the Seas". The 3rd was the stand alone expansion "The Guild 2: Venice". And then the 4th and final release of The Guild 2, was the stand alone expansion "The Guild 2: Renaissance". Why Dotemu needs to have "The Guild 2: Renaissance", is because it makes all the other The Guild 2 releases obsolete. The Guild 2: Renaissance includes all previous content from the other 3 The Guild 2 games, as well as many new content and bug fixes, plus the developers continued to release new patches for The Guild 2: Renaissance long after it's release. You can find the patches on the developers internet site.
If Dotemu reads this, you need The Guild 2: Renaissance, not this gold one! The Guild 2 is a fantastic game, it's one of my favourite games of all time, but people need to enjoy the latest and bestest release of it, not the olde one.
