The great wizard Galdryn of the Meadows has been slain be a deadly conspiracy within the Circle of Mages. His chief ally, Lord Davenmor, now struggles to save his kingdom from the dark forces of the conspiracy and the onslaught of Lord Barrowgrim’s army of marauders.
Lord Davenmor has promised his daughter’s hand in marriage to Lord Barrowgrim to quell the invasion, but her heart belongs to another and after learning of her father’s pledge, she has vanished. Having troubles with the download and installation of this game.
I've yet to get it going.
[10/10/2012 - 17:06]Dugeon Lords MMXII is good!
Dungeon Lords is a fun Action RPG. This version, Dungeon Lords MMXII, is a new updated version of the original Dungeon Lords that came out in 2005. It is the same game as the original, but now with lots of new improvements. The graphics are a lot more colourful, the leveling system has changed, and many bugs have been patched. New and plentiful music as also been added. There are also little improvements you'll notice from the original, like the avatar picture now actually reflects your character, that some menu options now work, where as they didn't in the original, as well as other little features.
It's no secret that the original Dungeon Lords had it's fair share of bugs, but it was still a fun game. Dungeon Lords MMXII is a much improvd version of it. I loved the original, and after playing this one, I love Dungeon Lords MMXII just as much. It's fun to play it again with it's new changes! The multiplayer also works in Dungeon Lords MMXII.
If you liked the original Dungeon Lords, this one is very much worth it. If you never played the original, but like Action RPG's, this is a good game to get. If you hated the original Dungeon Lords, you won't like this one much either, as while lots have changed, it's still the same game as it's core. But for the rest, this is a fun game to play.
Also be sure to check out new patches on the Dungeon Lords MMXII site from time to time:
They'll have the patch listed at the top that says "UPDATE". They may still release new patches for the game down the road.
And for people who like olde school computer games, you have to admit it's pretty cool to see D.W. Bradley's name on a new video game release!
