The Last Express is an adventure game occuring in the Orient Express, a train that linked Paris to Constantinople before the first World War.
You are Robert Cath, a young American doctor, who receives a strange, urgent request from your old friend - Tyler Whitney - to join him in the Orient Express. I think these requirements aren't "real", e.g. it runs perfectly on my old win98-PC with 128MB RAM too^^

I've been looking for the soundtrack for years and only found some REALLY expensive used copies on amazon, here you get it AND the game for only 4 bucks =)

doesn't run on windows 7 via virtual box/mac. I just get a short black screen and then it quits.

Is there any way to download it in parts, as with download accelerators? My poor conection always fail to retrieve the full game.
Running it in wine fails due to missing libraries. Has anyone successfully run it? Does solution No 5 in this post apply?

I wish they would create a sequel to this game or at least a HD version - would be cool to see this game with even more beautiful graphics.
