i have found 3 bugs with another world, i am playing it on an ipad 2, 64gb version with atleast 30gb free space

1, sound issues with main chars gun, forcefield and blast have no sound, they did, now they are gone, tried to reboot, no other apps open.

2, sometimes i get framerate slowdown to the point its unplayable, ive played the game start to finish about 5 or 6 times since friday, and its happened 7 times, so not a major issue, although restarting the app doesnt fix it, just goes on its own after the app is closed for a while, so im guessing its a caching issue, there were no other apps open when some of these occured

3 just after the caves section, there is a waterfall, once passed that screen there is a staircase. now if u dont go up the stairs but continue going right, the next screen is ok, but when going right to the next screen, it takes me to the screen that is above the next screen, not the correct 1, but if i enter it from the other side, its fine.

thats all ive found so far, otherwise this is a near perfect game. great job on the touch controls, wasnt sure if they would work, but they do really well and now i prefer that to an actual dpad. thanks Smile

Hi Anthony,

First, thanks for buying and enjoying our port of Another World Laughing out loud

And thanks for reporting your issues, we will dig into them. From what I know the third one is not related to the iOS port, it is present in the PC version as well.We will ask Eric Chahi himself if it is the correct behavior Wink

Glad to see you like the controls, we spend a lot a efforts doing them.

I've one of the issues above (1-3), but I do have a problem.
When you take the vehicle into the arena, I can't figure out how to make the finger push all the buttons, most importantly the 2 green ones next to the ones you turn red.  The two red are easy, but the two green are almost impossible.  Is there a trick to it?  I finally clicked around rapidly and finally got the big white one to come on but I ran out of time before I could press it, even though I had like 5 seconds to do it.  I know what needs to be done, in what order, but can't do it due to the controls.  It feels like you should use the action buttons on the buttom left/right, but it doesn't work when I try it.

Dotenu, you all did an EXCELLENT job of translating to IOS!! Great Job, and thanks for the improved graphics.  Controls are excellent (minus the buttons in the arena vehicle).

BTW Anthony, there is an IOS version of Flashback, although I don't think it was done as well.

(((((( correction, I had moved the directional pad and action button to the bottom, lower left and right, which was causing a problem with ability to "push" the vehicle's control buttons))))))))
