Announced today at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes, published by Dotemu and developed by the indie studio Alt Shift (Crying Suns) in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, is an all-new interactive video game that pays tribute to the fundamental aspects of the franchise, while offering an innovative rouguelite experience where narrative and tactical choices will guide the player towards survival.

The journey begins in early 2026.

Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes is a story-rich tactical roguelite with hard choices and intense space battles. You are a Gunstar Captain leading a fleet of survivors escaping the Cylon Fleet’s devastating onslaught on humankind. Admiral Adama has called for you to rejoin humanity’s last hope: the Battlestar Galactica. Prepare, fight, and survive at all costs.
